On a Saturday morning in June a number of us headed over to Pickins, SC in our Jags and Triumphs to visit the Hagood Mill historical gristmill, and to savor the sweet dulcet melodies of the flower power generation. This terrific outing was put together by Dennis Bromley and Sue Beck. We left Gowensville, SC at 9:45 AM sharp, traversing the back roads while there was still some coolness left under the mid-morning sun. A good 50 minutes later we pulled into the parking lot at Hagood Mill. Just like 1968 the rest is history.
