On Saturday April 7, immediately following our regular monthly meeting at the Beacon Drive-In, many of us headed over to Boiling Springs to visit the Red Bordner Distillery. The shop is loaded with many pictures and memorabilia of Red’s days in racing. A real treat was seeing two of his former cars. One could easily spend hours perusing the shop and listening to Red – But alas if only Red had been there. Never fear a good time was had by all! It is a distillery so you can say he was there in the form of spirits.
